  1. As a landlord you should already know this. It does differ from one state to another, but in most it's 30 days. You will need to send them a complete list of any and all charges that you are withholding for.

  2. Most states within 30 days

Some require written itemization of damages and deductions within 10 days

    Find out your state laws

  3. Deposits must be returned within 31 days of the tenant moving out.

  4. You need to check with your laws in your county, and the lease you had them sign.  The last time we rented, the landlord stated it would be returned to us within 15 days, but I think our county gave her more time than that.

  5. Well, without telling us what state you are located in, we cannot give you an accurate answer.

The time allowed is defined in your state's landlord tenant laws.

The amount of time varies greatly from state to state.

  6. In most states it's 30 days.
