Security guards/police?

yes i like to know if you are a security guard for several years, can you become a police in the future . i just got a job as a security guard. im so happy.will i have to take the armed classes in the future to.so let me know asap

The position as security guard has no impact one way or the other on future police work.  Doesn't help, but also doesn't hurt.

If you're still under the max age of a police recruit and can pass the physical, sure. Your security experience will even be a bonus.
