As a child I learned songs, tales, miths and uses of comom sens. But today I do not listen not even read about such things as legends and children songs of play. I think people erased their cultures because market ideologizes them to sell things.

  1. That's sad you feel that way.I try to keep legends and stories alive for my kids. I even make stories up for bed time just like my dad did for me...even my oldest will listen when I tell my youngest a bed time story---she is 20 yrs old --I cant help it life is supposed to be fun and bed time is the last fun of the day.

  2. That's because people have replaced the old superstitions with new ones. Like when I went to the store tonight and the girl behind the counter was saying to her friend how desperate she was for a 'psychic' reading because she's been having weird dreams.

  3. true &I havent seen a hanging in forever

  4. I think the removal or extermination of legends and folklore is what makes our world so plain. Ideologically, perhaps, to some.
