See in the dark camera good for daylight?

I saw this article: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/22918-how-make-camera-can-see-dark.html and thought it might be useful for my father as the camera he has watching his car can't see much of anything at night. However, my question is, if I was do perform this operation would the camera still be good for normal light?

Yes this camera work in the daylight also, it is designed to work in any light, or it wouldn't be worth much to most people.
