my dad is filling for his mom as a non immigrant visa DS-156 so she could come here and visit us but is there any way that i can e-fill ds-156?? after that i could send the papers and all she has to do is submit in the office

  2. How old is she? I thought that people after 60 did not need any interview. They just send the paperwork to the embassy. Check with the embassy again.

Yes, you may fill out the DS-156 for your grandmother.  Be certain that she understands each of the questions and provides the answers to you so that her responses during the interview will correspond properly with the application.  Also, you must answer "yes" to Question # 39, and complete Item # 40.  When finished, print out the form, sign and date it, and send the papers to your grandmother to sign and date and take with her to her visa interview (original signatures are required).
