  1. I saw it live on cnn and nasa.gov streamed it on line.

I was disappointed that the online video was about 40seconds  lagging behind real time.

  2. The most incredible thing you will ever witness... I saw the launch of STS 122 live in Florida, thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and it was the coolest thing.

  3. The only way to see it live is to go to Florida.

I saw it launch back in '84, it's worth the trip.

  4. Seems like CNN is just plain easier.

  5. The launches are also free at NASA TV as are all the hours of procedure that goes on beforehand,  For a ship that travels so fast launching a shuttle goes very slow.  At times I swear it's like a horse tranquilizer with all those built in holds

    .

It's not quite live, there a 30 second delay between real time and what you see on line.  I learned this from also watching it on TV. They also have a blog.

    .

  6. yep i just look out my window!

  7. What is the question??
