Veteran midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275, is happy with A.C Milan’s 2-0 win over Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, September 28, 2011.

Seedorf, who once again played a pivotal role in his team’s success, is happy with the performance Milan players put in. The former Real Madrid star added that registering the first win of the season always gives a special feeling and he is extremely delighted with the result.
Seedorf said, “There is harmony between us at Milan and when we win we are always happy. I think it was a good game, our first win in the Champions League this season and so we have reasons to be happy."
On the other hand, Seedorf’s teammate, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ignazio-Abate-c16673, believes that his team was lucky to win the game and is not happy with the first-half performance. The full-back believes that his team gave the opposition too many chances to score and lacked creativity in the opening half.
Abate said, “We didn’t do well in the first half because we played too straight up the pitch. We did well to score but we gave them too many chances to stay in the game,"
The former Torino star has urged his teammates to up their game after a less than impressive start to the Serie A campaign. The Italian Champions have picked up only five points from their opening four matches thus far and Abate believes they cannot afford more slip-ups.
“In the league, we can’t afford to get cut off from the teams ahead of us and when we’re back to full strength we can get back up there.”
Milan will take on Juventus in a crunch Serie A encounter on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011. The Turin giants currently lead the league table with 8 points from 4 games thus far.
