Proximity in A doesn't matter, B...heck of a lot of seed in dry sand just sitting around waiting for water and warmth to grow, C answer, D many seeds won't germinate in light.

c kept warm and moist. Some seeds I plant like Okra for an example I soke over night in warm water before I plant them to help with germination.
