1) Is a green soybean considered as a seed ? - If I put a soybean in the ground, will it grow into a plant?

  1. All beans are seeds. Plant one and you'll grow more beans.


  2. A soybean is a seed.  It will grow when planted if it germinates.  A soybean forms in a pod as the soybean plant matures.  Most plants will have multiple pods on it.  Once the plant matures, it will dye, and dry up.  This is when soybeans are harvested, and you get your beans.
