Realistically, what are the chances of a USMC avionics Tech of seeing combat?

  1. You will probably deploy but see combat...like get shot at...NO!

    You will be on a ship or very large base like BAF, KAF or BIAP...maybe a FOB if you work on helicopters but still...you will be for all intents and purposes, "in the rear with the gear".


  2. you aren't even leaving the flight line! So zero!

  3. When we're at war, pretty good actually.  Every Marine is a Marine first and foremost.  Even the so-called REMFs are Marines and are called to fight.

  4. If you don't want to see combat then just don't join any branch of the military, period dude.  Shoot, there are even people from the Air Force getting killed nowdays.


  5. There is no way a number can be given to that so i will say 46%. It depends on far too many variables than anyone could ever account for.
