Seeing in your mind????

my friend and i were having a discussion about seeing pictures in your mind. why can you see a picture in your mind without actually seeing it in front of you? what IS this seeing? where are you actually "seeing" this picture? like for example, right now i can picture a house in my mind, but i'm not looking at a house right now: why is it that i can see that picture in my mind? how am i seeing it???

You can see all things in the mind real or unreal ( All things are real because mind interprets them) but you can see because the mind is infinite and actually has no limitations other than what we put on it. Each person is a world in their own right.

It's your imagination. Drawing from your memory, your mind pieces together an image of your house and you see in your mind. This was a tool our forefathers used to hunt. They would see something they wanted to eat. Now they need to think how can they take this down?Well I once poked myself in the eye with a stick and it hurt. They think and imagine ... well if I make the end of this stick pointy it will poke into it and we can eat! Imagination is a tool used to play out scenarios in your mind using images and composting them together to play out a situation as you would think it would happen. This allows you to pick out the best option. Furthering our species and allowing those with greater mental capabilities with which they can imagine and think more logically, can live on and reproduce. It's a nice little evolutionary trait  that has made humanity as it is. As Napoleon once said "imagination rules the world."
