(Okay this is really long, but I wanted to explain in depth. I'm not some overreacting teen that panics over little could be maybe "signs" so I really wanted to explain myself. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read and comment on this.)

So this has bothered me for awhile and I apart of me thinks I'm freaking out over nothing but it really gets me.

I have had dreams of dying before so this isn't something new, but the dreams of dying before was like falling off a cliff never so detailed.

(this happened about 2-3 weeks ago) first part I remember was I died in a fire, but I think I woke up and then fell back asleep because then I had this part of the dream which rather bugs me. I had a rabbit (I never have had a rabbit and probably never will because I have cats) but the rabbit represented death. I learned that anyone that owned the rabbit died. I found a letter that was I guess from the "future" that my mother had wrote. It said something about;

Returning the rabbit because it was my daughters (me), she died of {food poisoning on 9/11/2009}, but I was reading this letter in the present and though someone who I can't make out tried to get rid of the rabbit I refused to let it go even though I new it was so to speak (the rabbit of death).

I'm not sure how the fire had to do with it but it was my house that burnt down and I felt like I had died in it but I may just be putting the dreams together.

This is what bothers me. Although I have had dreams about death before I have NEVER had a dream that gave me a specific reason as to cause of death or the date of death.

I have read about dreams and I know death in dreams usually doesn't mean real death, but a beginning or change in life, it can also mean stress and anxiety. But from what i've read i've never heard of someone seeing there date of death in a dream, although I have read about people thinking they would die from: a gun shot, fire, cancer etc.

The date is what bother me the most, one because of the whole 9/11 attack which could be why I saw that number but at the time I don't recall thinking about that day, I also thought maybe I glanced at the clocked before going to sleep and it was 9:11 but I never go to sleep that early, or maybe I briefly woke up at that time and say the clock before falling asleep again and having the dream.

I'm not sure I know it could mean hundred of things, but its scary to see what could be the day you "meet your maker". I have also noticed I see the number 9:11 on the clock, and read a couple things that had something about that day, which again it is a day that will never go away and will be marked in history from the attacks but its still freaky.

I just want to know if anyone else has seen dates in there dreams? Everything i've read doesn't really say much about dates, the couple things I did find about dates seemed to come true for those people.

As much as I would not want to die at the age of 21, I know if its Gods will its Gods will and I can accept that, but I don't want to spend the next year worrying to find out its nothing.

I know this is rather long, but one more thing I read was dying in dreams or dreaming of death can actually mean getting over a Illness, I have had a strange sickness since about April of this year, I seem to be getting a bit better so many its possible.

It seems crazy because it could mean so many things, but it was so direct in the dream it has me questing it.

Has anyone else had anything like dates in their dreams, and if so did it come true?

  1. The difference between a dream and a vision is a dream need interpretation, a vision is literal.

So, the first question is, was it a dream or a vision?

Was it in color?  Bright or muted?

  2. Hi Wilt,

I see that in the dreams you didn't die the same way.  The first part you died by fire, in the 2nd part you died by food poisoning.   As you said death usually  doesn't mean death, but something coming to an end or a change.  In this case Death  is a rabbit.

Rabbits aren't associated with death but life (having lots of babies, fertility, multiplication).

I believe that you are coming up to a time that you will have a life change. I don't believe it's a  bad change as the rabbit should mean multiplication, though someone may try to talk you out of it or take it from you.

I believe the fire is a difficult time coming that will test you a great deal but that you'll come through it.( If you are a Christian it could mean  a purification by fire.) the house in your dream might mean your own body, your family, or your church. (You may already be in this if you're currently experiencing illness).

I believe the food poisoning is a warning about the food you give your mind. What you read, think about, view with your eyes or hear with your ears.  Watch what you're taking in through those means as it could be bad for you. Phil. 4:8

I believe the numbers are important. I'm not sure they are a date however.  They could be time, they could be other numbers that you'll come across. when you see them i think you'll know.  I do not believe you'll have physical death on that date, nor that you should  spend any time worrying about that. Look for something good to come.  Often what we seek is what we find. Looking for disaster is not going to help at all.

There are many on line sources for meanings of elements of a dream. the bible has numbers that have meanings. It's possible that if you spend some time looking for the meaning you'll see a color or object that will trigger a memory from the dream that will help clarify things for you.

In answer to your question yes i get  numbers, dates,  all sorts of things in my dreams, as well as literal dreams(visions). When you begin to pay more attention to what you see in your sleep you will get more to see.
