Seeing spots in the shower?

I've noticed this ONLY happens when I'm in the shower. It isn't every single time, but it is frequently. I'll start seeing a bunch of very small greenish blueish spots, flying everywhere in front of me. Each episode of this only lasts about 7 seconds, at most. I don't experience dizziness or any nausea or anything like that when this is going on. So I'm assuming it isn't really a problem. But could it be a symptom of anything?

I'm an optometrist. It is probably nothing serious (ocular migraines and floaters are very common and not serious) but you should definitely mention it to an eye care professional to rule out something called Uhthoff's phenomenon or any other problem.

It's best to have an eye exam, but it sounds like you have floaters.  They are more noticeable when looking at something bright.  If your shower is white and your bathroom lighting is bright they would really tend to show up there.

I have this too!  It usually happens after I shave my armpits.  I'm wondering if I'm straining my eyes looking over to the side.

Its nothing to worry about but its an eye condition the spots your seeing are called floaters.

migraines maybe. i see spots and lights when i get migraines
