  1. Could be vitreous floaters, normal w/ aging.  If it's just stars when eyes closed or after pressure applied to eyes, just fun w/ the optic nerve.  You can get a visual field test to test the integrity of the optic nerve.  If floaters, you'd probably notice all the time especially when you look upwards.  If floaters and came on suddenly get a dilated eye exam, worst case scenario retinal detachment.  So, don't panic.  No need.  Go to Optometrist or Opthamologist, explain symptoms, have eyes dilated and take visual field test.  Most Optometrists can dilate when requested 9or if see something that needs a better look) and some have VFT machine in office, just call and find out.  But don't panic.

  2. its ttly normal. Also dots are normal. Thats why in cartoons like tom and jerry when someone would get hit or fall they would see stars or chickens b/c it is based off of real human reaction.

  3. I would guess it has something to do with your vestibular system. The vestibular system has to do with balance. Peps and animals have water and hair like structures in their ears. Movement (especially rapid or sudden movement) causes the water to shift and trigger the hairlike structures to send signals to the brain, which send signals to the eyes and limbs aimed at restoring your balance and sense of place in the world. Yet, before your vision, etc is set straight by the brain, things can get a little wierd (think about how you would feel for a period of time after spinning around in circles- your vision and sense of place gets messed up for a while). So.... that's my guess. Google/ look into the functions of the vestibular system and a condition called "vertigo"
