Seeing the school counselor?

ok do you go just like once or can you go like once a week and on like a regular basis ?

No you can go on a regular basis. Thats what counselors are for to help you out.

you should be able to talk to them when ever you need to that is what they are there for. Also depending on your school, they may have psychologists working there as well. Ask your counselor if you have one at your school and if not, tell them you would like to meet on a weekly basis.

It depends on the counselor. I used to go 4 days a week and after he notice that i was capable of doing things on my own he let me go .

The will see you as much as you want to see them!

But most high school's also have therapist to talk to.

Your counselors may suggest you to see one of them, and if they don't have one at your school. They will provide you with one, or refer you to one but that's only if they think you need someone to talk to a lot.

I'm pretty sure you're free to bother them on a daily basis. In all honesty what have you ever really seen your school counselor do? I'm sure they would be overjoyed at looking like that college education and office where there for a reason.

They are available to students whenever you need them, but they don't necessarily set up consistant appointments unless your in special education or something.

It depends on several things

1. The guidelines of your counselor

2. The problem at hand

3. The severity of this issue

My best advice to you is to go to your first meeting and then determine how many times you want to see her. If the problem is small, then you may be able to resolve it in one session, but if not, then you may need to go back.

Remember that counseling is up to you. You can stop at anytime, so don't feel trapped if she wants you to come back on a regular basis.

I go to the consulars all the time.  I mean, my school might be different but i am pretty sure that you could just go if you really needed to talk to them.  At least, that is what me and my friends did.

If she is busy you just come back another time.  That simple. :)

you can go whenever you want.its fun i use to love to have a counselor in school we use to tell her everything it was nice you talk they listen u feel better

There's always a small chance that your school would have a different policy as far as the counselor is concerned, but for us you can see the counselor as much or as little as you want. You could certainly go just once but you could probably set up a time each week to meet with him/her. They're there for you so it wouldn't make much sense to have a rule that you could only meet once! Hope I helped.
