Seeking Magic tipped to prevail in Try totequickpick If You´re Feeling Lucky Handicap
Seeking Magic has got a solid chance of winning the Try totequickpick If You´re Feeling Lucky Handicap at Epsom in England on Thursday, July 5, 2012. The class-3 winner will get a cash prize of £6,663 in the end.
There had been some overnight, which has made the going good to soft in the 6 furlong race. The action is scheduled to start at 19:10 GMT and there are some very good runners lined up for action.
However, the best of all participants appears to be Seeking Magic, who has got an impressive record. He does not have a lot of experience though, which might discourage the bettors to risk money on him. However, the bookies see him as a solid contender for
victory, thus they have priced him 6 to 1 today.
The four-year-old gelding debuted in 2010 and got the attention of everyone after delivering a winning run in his first ever race. He was given a starting price of 2 to 1 back then and was expected to fight at the front. He did not disappoint anyone and
jumped to the top by a clear margin of two and a half lengths.
This performance gave a lot of confidence to the Clive Cox’s trainee and he delivered some decent results in the 2011 season. He secured three back to back third place finishes after his maiden victory and followed that up with a runner up position.
Although these performances were quite impressive, yet his team would have been disappointed with the lack of more victories. However, he bounced back strongly, winning his final race of last year. He was rated as the favourite to win back then and took
the top spot by three quarters.
Haafhd’s son out of Atnab has only participated in a couple of races this year. He performed really well in both of them, finishing runner up in each. His trainer will be expecting a better show today, but things will not be easy at all.
The young gelding has never dropped out of the top three in his career yet, but his fans will be expecting him to increase the tally of victories. He will be ridden by veteran jockey, Adam Kirby today.
