Seeking Scotts?

I am reposting my question with some dates included. Im seeking information on James Scott born 14/7/1858 in Pennyweight Victoria. He married Florence Mary Howarth on the 22/11/1897 in Bendigo and died on the 15/12/1924 at Castlemaine Victoria.

Here is an overview of Australian vital records, and addresses that you can contact.  If you have not already done so.. you will benefit from getting both his death certificate, and it is possible he also has a birth certificate. I assume you are looking for his parents.  www.rootsweb.com does have a number of Scotts shown with connections to Victoria/ Australia.. these may be related to your James, but if he is not included (or is included with info that is not the same as yours).. he isn't identifiable.

A friendly tip.. no matter where you are, you can't always rely on finding relatives to help with your research. They may not exist, or they may not have any involvement in genealogy (or may not be online).  If you 'pretend' there is no one else to find, then you would go for existing records and documents.
