I have a family bible of the Parrott family from Wichita, Ks in 1922. It says, Presented to Mr & Mrs John S Parrott for their 50th anniversary June 19 1922 from Wichita,Ks from the Grace Presbyterian church . I would like to return this item to the Parrott family.

you might want to write to the church.  A lot of churches keep records on the parishoners. There is a chance that a descendant still might attend!!

I have found the John Parrott, wife Catherine, living in Wichita in the 1920 census..

I think you want descendants, not ancestors.

I am sure they would love the bible back.  The Parrotts had several children, most likely all deceased by now, but there are probably grandchildren.

I have reunited things like this myself.  I looked in the most likely places and started calling.  It's remarkable how helpful people are when they know your mission and can help.
