Seeking career advice

What kind of careers are out there that will give me an opportunity to work with children all day long? After naming off some careers, can you please list any online schools that I can obtain a bachelor's degree for that specific occupation? From what I know, the only careers I know of that let you work with children are: teachers, pediatrician, school nurse, pschiatrist. With any of these careers, can I get a 4 year degree online? I know I keep writing these questions, but I never get any good responses, so I will keep writing them until someone honest and caring out there will give me the kind of answer I am looking for. Take care!

  2. Depending on what kind of work you want to do, you should definitely be able to get whatever educational experience you'd need on line.

A job I was considering would be at an after school, or summer program such as the YMCA or another independent institution.

You could consider the not-well-know job of a child life specialist.  They are pretty much responsible for making children staying in hospitals feel safe and help them understand the medical procedures they may be undergoing.  Very rewarding work.

You could be a camp counselor, school teacher, school psychologist, pediatrician, nanny...

I would suggest looking at craigslist for inspiration.  You don't even have to limit the search to your area, expand to see many options and ideas for jobs.

Good luck! I'm in the same boat as you. I have no clue what I'm going to do :)
