If a pedestrian is struck by a car that is backing out of the driveway and sustains non-life-threatening injuries (sprained elbow and a broken bone) what can he/she sue for? (Assuming inurance is already paying the medical bills?)

  1. Pain and suffering for one. Lost wages if the injury prevented them from doing their job.

  2. Medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, services they have to hire because they can't perform them at home.   There's no limit, really.   It's whatever a judge/jury would feel like awarding.
