I'm 7'1"...and almost every day someone asks how tall i am or simply says, "wow! you're tall!". I'm kind of sick of just saying, yeah, thanks! What are some good, fun comebacks for these comments?

Just say you are on a protein diet, you eat short people. Then snarl or l**k your lips.

Or if you really want to get nasty, say that your girlfriend/boyfriend has bad knees and you had to grow or else they would quit giving you a BJ.

hahaha Im tall too and get it all the time. Man some people are stooopid. Why do stoopid people always state the obvious?

If you are a very tall woman (or man), you certainly must face from time to time, a lot of questions and comments about your height. You may absolutely love your height, but nevertheless, the comments and questions can still be a drag, very irritating, and make you wonder just how stupid people really are.

Here's some stuff I thought was hiarilious- although my personal fav is to pat them on the head and say "and you're sooo wittle, how cute!"

Some tall women have actually reported that they have been asked WHY they are so tall. What a dumb question. This assumes that the tall woman is a master geneticist or knows the intricate workings of the human genome. Asking a person why they are tall is like asking them why they their nose curves upward, or why they have brown eyes. Like I said, how stupid.

The following questions have actually been posed to very tall people. Here are great comebacks and clever responses.

"Why are you so tall?"

1) My dad gave me Miracle-Gro.

2) My parents left me out in the rain.

3) Why are you so fat?

4) Why are your eyes brown?

"Wow, you're so tall!"

1) My oh my, I never knew that! Thanks for pointing that out.

2) My oh my, you're so observant. You must have taken your smart pills today!

3) Do you ever get mugged by children?

4) How long have you had that scalp problem?

"Just how tall are you?"

1) Five-foot, 12 inches. (or 14 inches...)

2) Six feet. How much do you weigh?

3) Six foot and worth the climb.

"Do you play basketball?"

1) Yes. I was the star player. I averaged 33 points per game. I was voted MVP in the conference. I have a room full of trophies. I was offered all these scholarships..."

2) No. I bowl and shoot billiards.

3) You're short, but I didn't ask if you were a gymnast, did I?

"How's the weather up there?"

1) Spit and say, "It's raining."

2) Want me to pick you up so you can get a first-hand look?

(Man asking tall woman): "Do you ever get mistaken for a man?"

1) No. Do you?

lol II'm 17 im pretty tall (6'4') but no where as tall as you. Some lady said then if anyone ask  "do you play basketball" i should say "No do you play mini gulf" lol never tried it yet tho
