My relations arrived in western australia from england in 1853 in ship palastine with herbert family,seeking contact with snook family .John snook shot by wlliam conroy in fremantle town hall fremantle.any relation to Charles w Snook.Of forgotten flyer book.thank you.

There is a James Albert Herbert marrying an Annie Maria Snook in Fremantle in 1865, according to http://www.justice.wa.gov.au/_apps/pione... so you will be able to get their marriage certificate and start from there.

There are two "John Snook"s in the death register one in 1916 and one in 1887. There's a Charles W Snook passing away in 1948. But he doesn't appear on the Marriages search.

Probably won't help you but there are 62 deceased people with the last name Snook listed at the Karracatta Cemetery site including a John and a Charles W Snook.

There are 2 Snook families living in Jurien Bay, Western Australia.  Just Address any mail C/- Post Office, Jurien Bay, 6516. Hope they still live there, the local post office staff will know their forwarding address.
