Outstanding honeymoon idea for sun sensitive fiance.

At least in my view, a honeymoon must not only be relaxing but remembered for seeing something impressive.  It depends where you are and where you have been and the time of season.  It will be a lot more fun than a beach resort.

In Europe Paris is best (yet depending on your interests also Rome or London) however many other places are more romantic.  I think Spain is good for honeymoons there is Toledo and Salamanca but you might relax in Cordoba  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mezquita and then drive to Granada to see the Alhambra palace and that town is very nice http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alhambra (stay at the Hotel Sarai).  Actually Istanbul is fantastic and so much to see and the experience of the east, but try to stay in the Swiss Hotel and take a river boat on the Bosphorous it is amazing (but careful with taxi drivers).
