  1. Lay in more firewood.  Seems windier also.

  2. no "global warming is a real and present danger" (as I snicker)

I'm stacking the fire wood high and deep for this year

  3. I don't know about global cooling.  It's definately been cooler here in Michigan than the past few years, which were really hot!  So I guess now it's normal MI weather.

But weather patterns are regional.  The temp could be above average in some places and below average in other places.

  4. It's regional. Australia has experienced a drought for the last 6 years, and that country is a leading export of wheat. has anyone else noticed the price of food rising? Everyday Indian farmers are committing suicide due to small debts they can't pay back. Yes, in some parts the earth is cooling, and in other's its warming up, which makes sense, because heat would causes ice to evaporate from the poles. Where does that vapor go? Into the atmosphere, so places that normally don't experience cold are, and others are heating up. Go pick up a US News or other informative magazine, not some yellow journalism newspaper or tabloid, and go find out what's really going on.

  5. If we do go into prolonged and deep cooling, we will need to have conserved all the fossil fuel we can.

If we need to slow down global warming, we need to conserve all the fossil fuels we can.
