Seems like mother earth is on the move, what is causing this with all the weather and earthquakes?

Earthquake in China yesterday, and all the other places in the world that are being hit hard by storms. Are we in for more of this and are things getting worse as far as the weather is concerned?

I think it's just coincidence.  These things happen on a regular basis, sometimes they just happen to strike where there are a lot of people living and they make big news. Although there is a definite connection with microseisms (very small earthquakes) and weather, I don't believe any connection between large earthquakes and weather has ever been shown.
