Seen a baby pigeon nursed by an amazon parrot?

we have wood pigeons in the garden

spent 4 hrs retrieving a fledgling from the local fat black cat (and then trying to get the cat with a water gun...4 am)

baby is ok

electronic cat repellant is in place

our yellow naped amazon joe is adopting him between his trots round our garden

( i have photos of the 2 little gits how do i post them? oh hang on ill do a link)

    You should write this story in detail and send to Bird Talk Magazine

    with this picture.

    They don't pay, but may put it in a coming issue.

    I have two Amazons now - OWA and a DYHA along with other birds, but I started out over 30 years ago with YNA's, love them!!

    Goes to show, never say never-:)

  3. Great picture,your bird has adopted the woody !! but don't forget it will not feed the woody so make sure it is feeding its self,but at that age it will more than likely be doing so.
