the moms back is the child support system broken ? Oftentimes it does not matter if the child gets 600 in child support, or 6000, the ammount spent on the child is roughly the same and none of it gets saved for the child to take with him when he becomes of age.

Just because YOUR mom did that, does not mean that every child support recipient does it.

my ex's both blow the support money i send them on stuff like getting their hair done or nails and things like that i just wish it was set up to an account that held the cash in accounts for the kids and used for them but it wont happen

Yes I think quite often that it's ridiculous.  I don't think that a parent should ever receive any more than $1000 per month per child in support.  No matter where you live this should be more than enough to keep a descent roof over the child's head.  Anything beyond that the custodial parent should have to produce an invoice/receipt.  

For example, I usually paid all of my sons bills but if one was a bit beyond what I could handle at any given time I would show his father in writing how much his hockey (or whatever) had cost and could he please help out?  We were fortunate to never have disagreements over money.....lots of other things but never money.

I'm sure many bitter divorced exes think the same way. But that is because they are bitter and irrational  when it comes to their exes. Most people are, I guess.

But to think that *most* women would spend the money on "their hair, or nails" is misogynist c**p at it's finest. Sure, there are some women who do this, but to hear most divorced men talk, their wives are wearing Prada and dining in five star restaurants every night, while their kids are in rags and eating balony. It's just talk. I guess it makes them feel better to make their exes out to be money-grubbing, child-neglecting bi.tches.

The Child Support situation is a fiasco, it's flagrantly used as a means of disposable income for women; this is hardly a matter of controversy.

This is primarily the product of post-modern feminism.
