Selecting devices in bios/f2?

Question

what button do i press on the keyboard in the f2/bios screen to select the devices box/window, i can see it on screen but the arrow buttons only cycle through the options at the top. ive tried every button on the keyboard. on the ide devices my cd drive is disabled and i need to enable it as my cd drive does not show up in my computer or when i put a cd in and try to run/use it.

btw its a laptop, packard bell easynote r4

I've just had the same problem with a Medion laptop.

It just would not recognize the DVD/CD so I put on a image drive (daemon Tools) to try to load an image of a CD I wanted but it just would not recognize that either. In my computer there where no drives except the hard drive.

I reinstalled to factory defaults using the disc given (yes that worked)

when I finished all was okay and no problems adding Daemon Tools either.

Weird eh
