Self Catering in Orkney Isles. Do you have any recommendations?

We are going to Orkney in Autumn/Winter this year.

We prefer remote, self catering accommodation, preferably near beaches and/or lochs, however, that is a wish list, and we're fairly flexible.

Has anyone anything they would reccomend?

It depends are you wanting to stay on the main land or go to the other Isles - e.g Rousay or Hoy?

Lots of pretty beaches, ever considered camping ?

Atlantis Lodges is one where a lot of the tourists go, which is 10 mins drive away from the main town (Kirkwall) It just depends what you want, have a look online and i'm sure you'll find something. (:

Oh and if your coming in Autumn/Winter be prepared for bad weather !
