Self Esteem/Confidence problem?

I'm 15. I only feel unconfident when I think about my flaws, but when I dont think about them, I dont feel unconfident YET i dont feel confident either. i feel nothing, blank. i only feel confident or good about myself if someone lets me know im doing a good job at whatever. how can i feel good about myself without other peoples help? is it even possible?

  1. Yes, you need to think hard about accepting your inner feelings as the best arbitrators of the goodness of your existence.

    Of course, we will continually take in the ruminations, the admonishments, the praise...of others.  However, these pronouncements are not definitive.

    Our self esteem and confidence is built upon achieving success in the real world and fully accepting and embracing that success internally, without any need for reinforcement from others to make it true or real.
