Question:

Self development Pt 1: Teeth?

As a kid I had the strange urge to pull out my teeth (and not for toothfairy money, but rather because.... well i honestly dont know why).

Now I am left with my adult teeth, but they're not as straight as I'd like (my tongue wont fit on the roof of my mouth, because it has a.... curved inward shape, like a U is perfect; but imagine that the sides went towards each other, a little.)

my question is, at 19, is it too late to get braces? and if not, how long/expensive will this project be?

  1. No it's not too late.

  2. I have seen men in their 30's with braces so it is not to late to get them. And depending on how crocked your teeth are it could take up to 1-3 years. Expense wise... if would depend on who your Dr. is and what kind of braces you get.

  3. personally, I think 19 is a good age for braces...all teeth are in and now you are old enough to appreciate, and care for them properly.....it may take a bit longer.....but you will have less post-treatment problems.....

    Good move!!  good luck!
