Self employed, can i claim income support?

I have been self employed for several years but for the last few months have not been able to get sufficient income to pay my rent and bills, does any one know if i'm entitled to claim income support?

  1. Dont be another sponger who is causing to add more strain on this credit crunch that is going on.  It is scary the number of people just think it is too easy to take tax payers money because they are too lazy to work else wear or to try harder to make their own money.

    Get another job  


  2. You may be able to claim a small amount to bump up your pay packet but you can't claim income support proper because you have an income.

  3. Call in to your Local Jobcentre [D.W.P.] Ask for a Application form for I.S Send it back to them with all your details, If you are Entitled to any I.S./ Housing Benefit , They will soon tell you !!!  

  4. Citizens Advice Bureau is the best bet for you

  5. How about getting another job instead?

  6. go to the CAB they will be able to look at your earnings and tell you if your able to get any help, even if you cant claim job seekers or income support, you maybe entitled to help with your rent and council tax,
