Self employed doing a variety kind of jobs, How to put experience and reference into resume?

Say you were self-employed, put down the dates, and have a list of skills that you have or acquired through the course of that work, or a description of the sorts of work you performed.

It will be no different that listing previous company jobs, except that the where you'd normally name the "employer", you'll say "self-employed"...plus mention your DBA name, if you used a "business name" different from your own during that time period.
