Self-employment in British Columbia?

Question

I want to start a company selling my photography, writing, music, art, etc. As a self-employed person, I would be eligible for certain tax write-offs, etc, but I don't really know what resources are available to help me, or where to begin. I already have some sales on the go, so I need to get this off the ground.
