Are there any online support groups i can ask questions about this subject? or phonelines dedicated to it and know what they are on about?

This is the website, you can join an online forum and talk to other sufferers. I'm a member of it, it's a case of sufferers helping other sufferers, mutual support. You will need to register, but it's completely free and quick to do.
