Self tanner? does it make you orange?

well... now that summer is almost over, I would like to use a self tanner, but I am kind of nervous because I don't want to look like an oompa loompa! Are there any good self tanners that won't make me orange. I guess I kind of want to look......... bronze. Hehe! Thanks everyone!

I don't like looking like a pumpkin, and that is that. I'd rather look like a ghost. But my favorite self tanners to use are the kind that gradually tan you. They are the clear lotions that you put on once or twice a day and within a week you have this really great bronze color and besides your palms being very slightly darkened, it actually is not going to end up with you spraying your self in the eyes, having orange spots or ultimately looking like a carrot :D

totally depends on the brand your using, id suggest trying out a gradual tanning lotion on your legs before anything else because you can always wear pants for a couple days it does not turn out but the change will be more subtle with gradual tanning lotion (obviously)

I will never ever use self tanner again.  You really, truly cannot guarantee nor see that you are covering every part of you evenly.  I ended up with blotches that stained for weeks, I've seen a lot of girls have the same problem.  It's just too orange, too stain-y, and too hard to get off.  Although, I've heard that lemon helps get rid of the stains.  I wouldn't try it!

orange..i used the jergens shiiit and it made me look really tan for like 1 week then i turned yellow, then orange, so i would not reccomend. ohh and that build a tan stuff doesnt work either .. my friend uses it and she looks yellow like a smiley face yellow..lol. dont do anything to yourself..but if you want to look tan for a bit go get this neutrogena stuff it is waterproof though soo dont know how long you want to be tan for..or you could always add a little bronzer to your arms to make em darker..=]

Jergeans Natural Glow!! its the best thing ever it makes you tan but not splotchy , if you want a rapid tan use jergeans natural glow express. it doesnt make you orange it makes you *glow* ahh its so amazing i got soooo many compliments when i used it

if you want to go to the nextt level of tann , use banana boat self tanner.. it makes you darker but it can leave splotchiness but its not really noticable unless you look up reallly close .
