  1. Definitely do it!  The last thing you want is to look back on your life and say you wish you'd done that.  My husband did the same thing before we met and I'm so envious of all of his experiences.

  2. Do it. I spent a lot of time travelling, and loved it. It also helped me find what I really wanted to do in life, plus employers like to see that you have done some travelling. Take as much money as you have - if you run out, you can always find work. I also find it best not to plan too much - if you like a place, you can always stay longer.

    Just go for it!

  3. If you decide to sell your items and go travelling, there is no return, so the decision is permanent until you make enough money to do something.

  4. I left home and did something similar when I was 19, have lived in several countries and enjoyed myself totally. Go for it or you will regret it. Happy travels.

  5. Yes do it. I wish I had.

  6. I say go for it. You only live life once. There will be plenty of time for living in the rat race and getting stuck in a cubicle. I have traveled the world but did it the hard way on a Navy ship. The best way if going to Europe is to stay in Hostels and get one of those Euro passes so you can travel from country to country.  Also, when there, you don't have to eat out as much. Eat breakfast in your room.  A trip like this will give you a great chance to meet people from other cultures. Try and learn some of the languages before you visit. Have fun.

  7. DO IT>>>>>>>>>>>

My boyfriend (before i met him)same dilemma as you sold everything and travelled around thailand and australia he loved it and said it was the best thing he ever could of done...

Just take as much money as you can, spend it wisley and most of all have lots of fun xxxxxxxxxx

  8. don't sell everything  but enough  so you can buy a RV

  9. Do you know wot mate... do it! my two mates have gone for a year and if id have pulled my finger out and made a decision i would have gone in hindsight.  Just remember that your problems will still be here when you get back, so do try and sort these out before you go.... you can run away from your family forever.... best of luck and i hope you make the right decision

  10. i think you should i am planning on it in a few years time as i am only 18 but i am going to china this year

but if i was you i would have something to comeback to so leave a little money behind to get a flat and a job to pick yourself up with but good luck and have fun

p.s. as someone said earlier be carefull who you go with get to know them first
