Selling Bicycles?

Question

I have some old Bicycles that are still in very good condition(just bought new ones). Where is the best place to sell to get the most money?

Should I look for a pawn shop? Craigslist? eBay?

It really depends on the bicycles and how desirable they are.  If they are old Wal-mart bikes, probably no one on ebay would bid on them.  Craig's list is a good possibility if the bikes are nice.  Be sure to put lots of pictures on your listing.  If the bikes are good quality, ebay is probably best.  Don't take it to a pawn shop.  They won't give you near what they are worth.  Old Wal-mart bikes usually do best at yard sales, where someone looking for a cheap ride to work or school would want them.  You might also let your friends know that you are interested in selling them.  There is a lot of interest in bikes now with the high gas prices.
