Selling Car but cannot find vehicle reg document!!?

Can I sell it tomorrow and if so what does the buyer have to do?/

If you have the title, you can sell it.

The registration just shows that the tags are current (or not). The plate should indicate the status.

When the buyer goes to DMV, they will get a new registration.
