I have a ton of Star Wars sets but none have a box or directions. Will people still buy them and if so, for how much?

  1. People will still buy them, but they will pay about 20-40% less than if they had the instructions, and about 50-60% less than if they had the box and instructions.

Make sure they are complete, there has to be some sites out there with the full piece list. And be honest in your listings and tell people exactly which pieces if any are missing, and the total number of pieces in the lot they are buying.

You could also try to sell them in lots of specialty pieces instead. Figures tend to sell in lots for $1-2 each, specialty pieces $10-15/lb and regular style pieces at $5-6/lb.

  2. The Republic gunship for instance if complete with no box is around $250 on eBay.

Some mini figures are fetching upwards of $150+ like the all shiny chrome c-3po. Boba Fett is generally around $50. A complete set of all the mini figures from every Star Wars set has been rumored to sell in the thousands. The earlier the set, the more you are going to get. I buy Lego's all the time. I couldn't begin to tell you how much some of the collections I have watched go for huge prices. Use the compare function on eBay to see what some of your sets have recently sold for. You'll be amazed.
