Selling a Trombone(Brand:King)?

I've been having my trombone since 2002 and I plan on selling it. It's in great shape for its age and its been takin care of. The Brand of the trombone is KING. Does anybody know how much i can possibly get from selling it?

  1. Your best bet would be to try to sell it to a local instrument store, especially one that sells to kids beginning to take band in school, , because the resale on used instruments is not that high, if you don't like there offer put it on craigslist..


  2. Spit-valve!!!!.... Giving this site a phone call(number at top of page), asking the pros on what you should charge for resale, is an idea. Phone charges apply, but may be well worth it.

    Brand new, depending on model, cost is very high for King trombones. I don't think $75 is going to be a fair deal for resale. More like $500-750 in good shape, excellent shape perhaps $900. Like I said; new ones range from $1500-2500

  3. Not much.I donated one to a school for there band.No one really wants to pay what a used trombone is worth.You may get 75-100 if you really try hard.
