Selling a car in Argentina / Brazil?

I'm planning a bigger road trip, from Detroit to Argentina/Brazil and would like to know what are the conditions of selling a car in Argentina and/or Brazil? Are there US/Canadians out there that did it? Where can I find information/details on this?

In argentina is gonna be complicated to sell it legally. For sell your car first you have to register it there , pay the importation taxes or you can no sell it for 2 years.

You have to contact a car dealer who work with imported cars in argentina, and sell it to him. He can do the importation and  sell it. or you can sell it to a friend who will be willing to use it for more than 2 years.

You can look in the Aduana argentina site or ask in the Consulado Argentino en Chicago, may be they can help you with more information.
