  1. If you get tired of a game then give it to gamestop or ebgames. If you want to trade a game then bring one of your old games and trade it for a new one.

    here are the websites

    gamestop.com

    ebgames.com

  2. you take the game in and they will trade it in for instore credit (credit that can only be used in that one store), or cash (which would be a lot less than the instore credit)

sell your games online. Gamestop will barely give you anything for games traded in.

I bought a wii game for $29.99, got bored of it, and traded it to gamestop. They gave me $9.00 in store credit, which I could only use in that one store. If I would have taken cash they would have given me 30% less of what the instore credit would be. They turned around a sold the game for $19.99, $10.00 more than they gave me. This game had no scratches, or damage, and even had the original case and the game manual, and still got very little for it.

You would be better off selling your games online

  3. The other person was kind of rude, but is right.  Keep in mind that if you bring your games to Gamestop, you won't get nearly as much money then what you paid for it.  A new game, for example, probably cost you about $60-$70.  If you trade that game in after about a week, you might get $25-$30 in store credit.  If you want cash, then you will only get about $15-$20 for the same game.  You always get more in store credit then if you were to get cash.  Older games might get you $10-$15.  Anything older then say a year will be considerably lower.  I made a huge trade-in a few weeks ago and some of my games were only worth like 75 cents, while the PS3 and Wii games were $15 or more.  So it definitely varies depending on what system they are for and what game it is.

  4. Are you braindead? Where have you been living? under a rock?

You trade in games for MONEY or IN-STORE CREDITS.

For example: If you beat a game, and get tired of it, trade it in.
