  1. Bring them to a pet store--they may not pay you for them, but chances are they will take them. That's what I did when my hamsters had babies.

  2. If you can't find homes for them yourself, you're better off bringing them to a shelter or a rescue group than to a pet store.

Some pet stores will accept animals and sell them, but others have policies that prevent them from doing so - so they either give them away for free, use them as feeders, or euthanize them. Even if the store will sell them, there is no guarantee that they will end up in a good home. Shelters and rescues will screen potential adopters and charge an adoption fee to ensure that they end up with people who will take good care of them.

Many shelters are overcrowded, though, so first try to find homes for them yourself. You can post in the classifieds section of http://www.petfinder.com/ or even try Craigslist. Just be sure to charge an adoption fee - free rodents often end up as feeders.

  3. go to kijiji.com or kijiji.ca (cnadna) to put a free ad in your area. im sure some people will buy them! put up notices in your community centre and put ads in your newspaper.

  4. where do u live? what state?
