Selling house for the oak hardwood?

I know someone who told me that there are people that will buy old houses to strip them of the hardwood, solid doors etc. Any idea how to go about finding people interested in doing this?

You can contact your local house brokers and ask them what you looking for.  Maybe that will help

Go to antique dealers or .... darn I cant remember... look for house recyclers

The price of hardwood has not reached levels that would make this economically feasible. I highly doubt it ever will.^
