I was wonderig how it is if I sell my house with liens on it.

Can I sell the house? What is done with the liens?

Never faced thiis and how it all works. Thanks

  1. The best thing you can do is contact a realtor in your area so that you can discuss what the local laws are in your area. Many realtors will offer you services like this without charge. Good luck!


  2. You will have to arrange to settle all outsanding liens before closing is completed. Mortgages will be paid off from the proceedes at closing; judgements and liens need to be settled usually in advance of closing, occasionally they can also be paid with proceeds of sale if closing is set up that way.
