Selling my house. what other options do i have?

i am currently living on my own, and cant afford to pay the mortgage repayments. i have enquired about selling, but with the depressed market in the UK at the moment, i wont get enough money to cover what i paid for it.

one option i have heard about is a company buy my house for say 80% of what it is worth, and i rent it from them....

please help!!

How about getting a roommate, or renting you place out?  The company who pays 80% sounds great, EXCEPT, they will determine the value with THEIR appraiser, less tons of expenses.  They're vulchers.
