  1. Yes, it does cost to sell stuff. They bill you at the end of every month, and it is either taken out of Paypal or your credit card, I think you can send in a check or money order also. I am not sure of the exact fees, but they have an insertion fee, a picture fee after the first pic for every item (15 cents a pic), and a final value fee if your item sells. Also if you use Paypal, they have their fees too. It's getting ridiculous for their fees too. Guess like everything else in the world, prices are going  up. Selling is simple to do on there, once you get your own kind of system going, it's easy.

  2. I'm not sure because I've only bought there, but I think there's only a fee for everything you sell.... a certain percentage of what you finally sell it for...

  3. I don't know about the price, but....... It is really easy.

  4. IT's a per listing plus a  small % of the end take - shipping

  5. There is a fee and it all depends on how much you list the item for. For example if you list an item with the starting bid of .99 you only pay .10 if its electronics. There is also a final fee and if its paid through paypal there will also be a paypal fee. It can be a little bit of difficult when you just get started, but then you get used it it. It is pretty simple and easy.

  6. u only pay something when u are putting somthing up to sell. u pay for extras like Bold lettering or an  outlined  listing..but if you want it pretty basic like i list my items it costs like 3$

if you manage to sell the items through bids and not outside of ebay they take a certain % of ur earnings...i sold outside of ebay so i was able to keep all of my earnings. and only had to pay 3dollars to list the items.

its very simple just have ur pics ready and follow the steps

  7. Whenever you sell something on e-bay there are in fact fees. You are basically renting their site so that you can sell your items there. The lower the starting price, the lower the fee. This is the original "insertion fee". Then, when your item sells, they keep around 3% of the final sale price. They also charge for extra pictures, and a variety of other options. Make sure that you specify that the BUYER pays for shipping. It is very rare for a seller to pay this. There will be a place in the auction where you state how much shipping will be...just take a good guess as this point. E-bay will bill you monthly -you will get an e-mail. You can set up your bank account to have it automatically debited each month...Long answer...I know...but no, nothing is free!

  8. you should use

craigslist.com its just like ebay buy free

  9. it's easy to do and yes they do charge a fee. It depends on how much the item sells for as to what the fee is. It's a minimal fee for being able to reach millions of customers. Just think of it as a giant flea market. You have to pay to set up a table at a flea market but the money you make is well worth it. Good Luck

  10. ebay fees are pretty sneaky and there are a lot of them: the insertion fee based on the starting price ranges from 15 cents to i think $4. if you put a buy it now that costs money, extra pictures cost 15 cents, but not if you use www.auctiva.com to host your auctions. when your item sells ebay takes a little over 8% of the first $25 and gradually lower after 25, then after 100 it is a little lower. ebay does not include the shipping price when calculating your fees. paypal fees are i believe 4% of the total payment (sale price+shipping) so it adds up. if you are selling lots of items some under $25 and some more then ebay&paypal are taking roughly 10-11% percent of your profit. then of course you have to ship it. which if it's light it isn't very costly (first class mail is under $3.50 if you item is 13 oz or under. about $1.50 if it's under 2 oz.

i've sold for several years. all's i can say is good luck

  11. Yes, it costs,  the best place to find out is to go out to Ebay and see what the charges are.  There is not a monthly fee, you get billed per sale.  It is not much.

  12. you have to pay a insertion fee when you sell an item

there is a final value fee, they tax you for the item you sold.
