Selling pricey item on ebay - payment question

Question

I am accepting paypal only, somebody asked if I would accept a money order. Is there a reason (fraud or something) that I should not?

PLease help!

I would accept a US postal money order. When you get it you can take it to your post office to make sure it is good. Why pay PayPal their big fee when if you can want a few days and take a money order? You can also accept other money orders but don't send the item until it clears the banks. Let the buyer know that you delay shipping until payment clears.
