OK, so I need money and I have some items I would like to sell on ebay. I have never sold anything before. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this and getting the most I can would be appreciated (even suggestions other than ebay). The items I have to sell include a genlty used Maggie Sottero Wedding gown, cleaned and sealed. (Original cost over $800) A tan microfiber secional couch and 2 small matching ottomans. And a gently used Denver Mattress Doctor's Choice Queen Size reverable pillowtop mattress. Thanks for the help!

  2. well i am selling my wedding gown on ebay right now but you have to have 10 feedbacks before you can do a buy it now thing meaning a offer of excatly what you want for it i would put it on there and see if you like the price they offer if not then dont sell it

  3. It is pretty easy to set up an account on ebay. There will be a tab "sell" and just follow a step by step process to list the items. For your bigger items, it would be a lot easier to not try to ship them. You can just say pickup only. But, of course, bidding may be limited to how many in your area are looking for it. I suggest for starting bids, if it is a high demand item start your bid at $1 or less, because you will get the bids anyway. If it is something that doesn't have a lot of interest, then start the bid higher, so you won't feel like you are giving stuff away. The less interest equals lower bids. The starting bids matter because ebay charges more the higher your starting bid is. You can also set reserve prices or just do a buy it now price.
